In dawn of war 1 units did not die fast so what would happen is you would have protracted battles in which you could watch units sync kill each-other, throw each-other around and blast each-other to bits. They alienated their core player base by effectively removing everything that made the first two games treasuredÄow1 and 2 are very different games but one thing they both shared was spectacle. Dawn of War 3 failed because Relic's utter failure to understand what their customers wanted.
